This is an early morning photo of the Crescent City Connection, formerly known as the Greater New Orleans Bridge, taken as we cruised up the Mississippi River from the Gulf of Mexico to New Orleans. It is the farthest downstream bridge on the Mississippi River and also the widest and most heavily traveled bridge on the lower Mississippi.
A childhood hobby turned into a full time profession is how life turned out for me. I spent 25 years as a studio owner photographing weddings, portraits and events. Now retired, I can devote my time to travel and fine art photography. My photographic style is to capture life and nature as it is without having the viewer trying to interpret the scene.
